2022 A4LE Northeast Region Conference

We are hosting three school tours and presenting at the upcoming A4LE NE Region Conference in Washington, D.C. This conference connects facility managers, architects, educators, school planners, engineers, maintenance, and industry experts with the goal of enhancing and adapting learning environments.

Join Principal Elise Robinson, AIA, to discover Flint Hill School’s new Peterson Middle School. This inspiring educational environment encourages critical thinking through various learning opportunities, which allows students to develop and apply their skills in a workshop environment. Additionally, Principal Richard Salopek, AIA, is leading a tour of the King Abdullah Academy, a PK-12, bi-lingual, International Baccalaureate World School based on the principles of 21st Century learning, innovation, and self-directed, entrepreneurial development. The third tour features Maury Elementary School, a cornerstone modernization for east Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The design fosters creativity, cultivates curiosity, and forms lasting connections to develop self-empowered citizens. Senior Associate Erika Lehman, AIA, NCARB, is guiding this tour.

Don’t miss the session titled “An 80-Year History of Design Excellence Sets the Tone for Renewal in Puerto Rico” where Senior Principal Pam Loeffelman, FAIA, and Principal John Chadwick will share the evolution of school design in Puerto Rico and break down the planning process ahead as this U.S. territory reinvests in a transformed school system.
