Preservation Award for the Ford Nature Center
(CLEVELAND, June 5, 2023) – The Ford Nature Center has been selected to receive the Compatible Addition to an Historic Structure Award from the Cleveland Restoration Society and AIA Cleveland. The historic stone mansion serves as a hub of educational and recreational activity for the Mill Creek Metroparks, a treasured asset for the Youngstown, Ohio community.
The Cleveland Restoration Society and AIA Cleveland celebrate National Preservation Month each May by recognizing outstanding historic preservation projects from the region during their annual Awards Program. Projects are nominated by the community and are reviewed by a jury of historic preservation experts and certified architects.
