Join our team at the upcoming LHAT 50th Anniversary National Conference & Theatre Tour in Indianapolis. Principal and Project Designer Andrew Gale, LEED AP, will present a session titled “The New Atmospheric Theater: New Ways to Excite and Engage Audiences.” The session will explore how our team combined historic preservation with cutting-edge projection mapping technology to transform Charlotte’s treasured landmark, the Carolina Theater, into an immersive entertainment destination.

Attendees will learn about the project’s early exploration of immersive technologies, the advantages and challenges of implementing projection mapping, and its impact on the theater’s interior environment. The session will also examine how the technology has supported fundraising and marketing initiatives, while sharing audience feedback and operational insights gathered during the theater’s first 18 months of operation.

Andrew’s session will be held on the first day of the conference, July 12, from 10:45 AM to 12:00 PM.
